The Bertone Collection is a tribute to classic, iconic and unique cars from the second half of the 20th century. It contains a range of cars that are characterized by Bertone design and lines. This includes the simpler BMWs, Citroens and Fiats, but also the exclusive, stunning and breathtaking Lamborghinis, Maseratis and Lancias. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Bertone design and coachbuilding cemented itself as the most daring, innovative and progressive design studio in the European car and motor industry. This book gives the history and showcases the cars. Several of the cars have been preserved and to this day a few examples remain in the Stile Bertone private museum near Turin. In over 350 pages and using innovative photography, the work of 9 design directors and 63 of their cars are described. The book is written by renowned automotive journalist, Gautam Sen, and former Design Director of The Collection, Michael Robinson.
